Mobile Bar Hire Director at Buckingham Palace this morning.
Director of Mobile Bar Hire Ltd, Mr Avtar Sandhu was today invited to Buckingham Palace to receive his Member of the British Empire (MBE) Medal. Mr Sandhu has been honoured by Her Majesty the Queen for his ‘Services to the Community in North West Kent’. Avtar Sandhu MBE, 44 year old father of two has been working closely with many different community groups for approx. in excess of 20 years. When he heard of this announcment earlier this year he was ver surprised. Having been to the Palace today Mr Sandhu said ” The medal was presented to me by Princess Ann, we spoke briefly about my community work and my business of Mobile Bar Hire, I am pleased and honoured to have been recognised for my achievemnts”. Back in the office of Mobile Bar Hire the team were preparing for a celebration after their bosses historic achievment. This is yet another great achievment by a director of a buiness within the hospitality industry.
News on Guinness’s new product launch
Guinness Surger
We at Cheap Bar Hire are pleased to announce our latest product from Diageo. For drinker’s of the world famous Guinness, we now stock and serve the Guinness Surger. This is the draught Guinness system served perfectly from the can but through the latest ‘Surger’ equipment provided by Guinness themselves. This latest technology means that there is no wastage and each print is served correctly, as a result this mans no waste for the business and 100% perfection and freshness for every pint of Guinness served to the customer. Over the years smaller outlets and certain types of Bars and Clubs, have held back from offering Guinness to their customers, this has been due to the amount of wastage that each bar may have.
As a provider of Mobile Bar’s to Hire we have supplied Guinness for many years, this has been on draught and in cans, but to be quite frank, we feel that this latest Guinness Surger shall be carried by most of our vans to approx 80% of events where we are providing a full Mobile Bar Hire Service. This is a great product supplied by Diageo and we are pleased to be able to offer this latest news to the drinks and hospitality industry.
Alcohol Consumption News
Not many people are aware of the amount of alcohol assumption is suitable. The amount some one is should have is measure in units. The government guidelines outline that men should not drink more than 3-4 units on a regular basis and women should not exceed more than 2-3 units a day.
- One unit is 10ml of pure alcohol.
- 1 pint of strong lager = 3 units
- 1 pint of ordinary larger, bitter or cider = 2 units
- 175 ml wine = 2 units
- Small glass of wine = 1.5 units
- 1 alcopop = 1.5 units
- 1 measure of spirit = 1 unit
